Bridging The Gap Foundation
Bridging The Gap Foundation is a mission-driven organization dedicated to preparing individuals at critical life transitions for success in college, careers, and military service. Established on March 4, 2026, the foundation builds upon years of prior impact under its former model, Bridging the Gap Educational Services, which provided tutoring, mentoring, and advocacy support.
The foundation has evolved into a structured, outcomes-based training organization addressing a critical and often overlooked gap: the lack of readiness among students, young adults, and service members transitioning into their next phase of life.
Its signature program, the Next Steps Initiative, equips participants with practical skills, guidance, and support systems needed to successfully navigate life after high school. The initiative offers multiple pathways, including college, workforce, trades, military, and athletics. Within the college pathway, student-athletes receive specialized guidance to navigate academic and athletic opportunities, including Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) awareness and recruitment resources.

Our Mission
Bridging The Gap Foundation exists to prepare students and young adults for successful transitions into college, careers, skilled trades, military service, through mentorship, leadership development, workforce readiness, and real-world exposure.
Founded in 2005, the organization builds upon more than two decades of educational service and student advocacy through Bridging the Gap Learning Center and Bridging the Gap Educational Services, LLC. The Foundation was created to close the gap between academic achievement and real-world readiness by equipping participants with the skills, support systems, and opportunities needed to thrive beyond the classroom.
